Francis Gurney's East Dereham child cluster, c.1611–1633

The East Dereham parish register (Norfolk Record Office, PD 86/41, 1593–1641) carries a cluster of Francis Gurney entries across 69 microfilm images: a baptism of Edward about 1611/12; a burial of a Marye in late 1615 or January 1616, whose relationship word does not read as "daughter" and who is likely a niece; the burial of Agnes, daughter of Francis Gurney, on 31 January 1616; the baptism of Marye, daughter of Francis Gurney, on 25 May 1618; and a probable burial of a son Francis on 8 November 1633. Many entries are too degraded for confident surname-sensitive reading and most dates carry a ±2-year margin where the page year is not visible.

Confidence: Moderate-high

Date: c.1611–1633
