Mendon Proprietors' Records: Grisel Gurney's separate 20-acre lot and will
The Mendon proprietors' records list "Grisel Gurney, a twenty acre lot" as a separate purchaser from John Gurny, and carry a copy of her will, returned to the town through guardians in Chelmsford, in which "the Widdow Gurny that Was And Last of all Wife to the Abouesd John Burge" left her Mendon accommodation to her son Joseph Juell, with payments due Nathanil Juell, Mercy Juell, and Sherabiah Keby.
Date: twenty-acre lot recorded from the town's earliest purchaser list, through her will and its chain of title to Joseph Juell then Josiah Chapin (deed dated 25 April 1683)
