Torrey's New England Marriages Prior to 1700 (p. 331) gives a one-page cross-check of the John1 Gurney family group, corroborating John's dates (born c. 1603, died 1663) and preserving John Jr.'s Mendon household (wife Ruth; children John, Samuel, Mary).
Why this conclusion
- Supports Finding Reconstructed family group: five children (Sarah, Mary, Richard, John Jr., Peter) + Isaac uncertain, all Mary'sTorrey's family-group page independently corroborates the roster and John1's own dates.
